Every player must pay the annual sanctioning fees = ($15 to BCA=20 Pool League/$10 to Western BCA) and must have played a minimum of eight = calendar=20 weeks in a regularly scheduled Western BCA sanctioned league session = between=20 June 1, 2008 and Feb. 2, 2010.

Rules governing play are detailed in the latest edition of "Official = Rules of=20 the BCA Pool League 2009-2010", published annually by the BCAPL and = available=20 online at www.playbca.com/ or westernbca.org/About/Rules.htm. All = participating=20 players are responsible for knowing the rules.

Start times by division will be posted on the website as soon as they = are=20 available. Online brackest will again be used and will be available as = soon as=20 the entries are in and verified. All times and matches online are = subject to=20 change without notice.

Green fees are coupled with the entry fees for each=20 division/event and are calculated based on statistics gathered at = previous=20 tournaments. Green Fees include all tournament play, 2nd chance = tournaments,=20 mini-tournaments, ring games and practice. TABLES WILL BE OPEN.

Scotch Doubles and Team Formats:

Master Teams can be composed of Master players = from=20 throughout the Western BCA.=20
Only one GrandMaster can be on any Master team.=20
Open players can play on Master teams but Master players=20 CANNOT play on Open teams.=20
All players on an Open team must have qualified through the same = league.=20
Mens/Mixed Open Teams: Each team must consist of = at least=20 three players from their original qualifying league team. All players = must=20 qualify and be sanctioned through the same Western BCA league. Teams = that=20 place first through fourth in the Mens/Mixed Open division must play = in the=20 Masters division for the next two regional events if they wish to play = with=20 three or more members of that winning team.=20
Womens Open Teams: Each team must consist of at = least two=20 players from their original qualifying league team. All players must = qualify=20 and be sanctioned through the same Western BCA league. Teams that = place first=20 and second in the Women's Open Team division must play in the Masters = division=20 for the next two regional events if they wish to play with three or = more=20 members of that winning team.

Dress Code:

Clean and neat apparel is required at all times = when you=20 are in the tournament room. Torn or dirty clothing will not be = allowed.=20
Singles competition:=20
- Men and women must wear sleeved shirts of = polo/golf style=20 or button front style with a conventional fold-over collar. Sweaters = with=20 fold over collars,turtle necks, mock turtles necks and jewel collars = may be=20 worn.
- No T-shirts, sweats, sweatshirts, = overalls,=20 athletic wear, warm-up suits or jogging suits will be=20 allowed.
- Men must wear long pants, either dress pants or = untorn=20 jeans. Extreme low waistlines revealing underwear will not be = allowed. Women=20 may wear dress pants, Capri-style pants or untorn jeans. Women may = also wear=20 culottes, skirts or sleeved dresses of conservative length.
- Clothing must cover torso - back and front - at = all=20 times. No bare midriffs, excessive cleavage or exposed underwear,=20 please.
- Men and women must wear close-toed shoes at all = times.=20
- Collarless outer wear (vests, sweaters, = jackets) may be=20 worn but only over approved shirts, sweaters or dresses. They may = not be the=20 item of clothing complying with the collar requirements as stated = above.=20
- Should a player require an exception to the = dress code=20 for medical reasons, the player must provide a letter on official = letterhead=20 from the player=92s health care provider before the tournament (and = keep a=20 copy of this letter in his/her possession at all times, available = for review=20 by a referee, if requested). If this is a PERMANENT condition, a = physician's=20 note stating this may be submitted and will be kept on file for = future=20 tournaments.
- Failure to comply with the dress code could = result in=20 your being required to leave and come back in proper dress which = could=20 result in loss of game(s).
Mixed scotch doubles and teams competitions: Same = requirement as singles competition. Matching shirts worn by Scotch = Doubles and=20 Teams participants are preferred, but not mandatory.
